Green businesses are always looking for a way to make their products and operations just a little greener. However, when going green equates to saving a lot of green the decision becomes a no brainer. This Earth Day, April 22nd , Eco-Absorbent Technologies announced via twitter that the company would be installing energy efficient lighting throughout their office and manufacturing plant. Less than three weeks later the upgrades have been finished and the plant is on its way to being a little more environmentally friendly.

Absorbent manufacturer, Eco-Absorbent Technologies, Inc., launches Eco>Absorb Oil Only, a reformulation of their super absorbent designed specifically to clean up oil. Eco>Absorb Oil Only repels water while absorbing oil, allowing the product to float on the surface of the water until it can be picked up. With recent EPA certification in hand, the company has its sights set on helping clean up the gulf.
